Support Fundo Primary School
All the children at Fundo School need to be provided with the basic materials for learning. This includes exercise books, pencils and other equipment for the teachers to use for lessons. On our last visit in 2023 we were also able to load up suitcases with a range of reading resources for all abilities and educational posters for the classrooms and wash packs to help every child have access to soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste and other basic hygeine items. The Fundo Foundation is seeking to set up a channel for resources such as these to be supplied on a regular basis so that the children's learning on a day-to-day basis is not held back by a lack of the right learning equipment.
Essential items such as exercise books and toothpaste are very precious and not taken for granted. These items are so valued that children often take their exercise book with them when they go outside to play for fear of losing it.

The Importance of Nutrition
Many children arrive at Fundo Primary School hungry each day. They may also not have much food awaiting them when they go home at the end of the day.
We aim to raise the funds to provide a meal of porridge for each child while they are at school. Wouldn't it be amazing to know that each of the children in this community were assured at least one nutritious meal each day? And this provision will also enable them to thrive and get the most from their learning.
Currently, provisions are sent on an ad-hoc basis when Gift, Kathryn and others visit the school. The Fundo Foundation aims to enable daily meals to be provided for every one of the children at the school. Would you like to be part of making this happen?
